Terms of service
Operated by [to be completed]. Effective [to be completed].
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between [to be completed] ("we") and the organization that creates a Blip24 account ("you"). The person who signs up confirms they are allowed to accept them for that organization. Blip24 is a business service; it is not offered to consumers.
2. What Blip24 does, and what it cannot promise
Blip24 collects the status that third-party vendors publish about their own services, checks the endpoints you add, and alerts you when something changes. Vendor status comes from sources we do not control: a vendor can publish late, publish nothing, or be wrong, and our own detection, including the checks of your endpoints, can miss things or raise false alarms. Blip24 is information to help you respond faster. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard for anything where a missed or late alert could cause harm.
3. Your account
Give accurate details, keep sign-in credentials secret, and tell us promptly at [to be completed] if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for what people you invite do in your account.
4. Acceptable use
- Only ask Blip24 to check endpoints you own or are authorised to test, and only send alerts to destinations you control.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or access another organization's data.
- Keep within published API and rate limits; do not use the service to attack, probe or scrape third parties.
- Do not resell access to the service except as your plan explicitly allows.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it.
5. Plans, trials and billing
Plans and prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then does not renew. Taxes are added where the law requires.
We will not raise the price of your subscription while it remains continuously active. Refunds for unused time: [to be completed].
6. Your data
You own the data you put into Blip24. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes. You can ask us to export or delete it. Vendor status data, uptime records and incident history we compile from public sources are ours, and may be shown on our public pages.
7. Third-party names and marks
Vendor names, logos and status information belong to their owners and are shown to identify the services we monitor. It does not imply that any vendor endorses or works with Blip24.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Blip24 available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless we have agreed a service level with you in writing. We may change features over time; if we remove something material to a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
9. Warranties and liability
Except as these terms say, the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits or data. Each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Blip24 and cancel at any time. We can end the agreement on notice if you seriously breach these terms. When an account is closed we delete its data as the privacy policy describes.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account owners before the change applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [to be completed], and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
